Jinjifeng, or Golden Rooster Peak, is the quintessential Luoping experience. It consists of a series of karst hills rising out of a vast, flat plain that becomes carpeted in yellow rapeseed blossoms during the spring. Visitors can climb the designated viewing platforms to gain a panoramic perspective of the landscape, which is particularly striking at sunrise or sunset when the light catches the golden petals and the mist settles between the peaks. The area is a hub for photographers and nature enthusiasts who come to witness the dramatic contrast between the sharp limestone formations and the soft, vibrant floral carpet below.

The Nine Dragons Waterfalls, or Jiulong Waterfall, is a spectacular series of cascades spread across a tiered river system. A walking path follows the river, allowing visitors to view the falls from multiple angles, including a high vantage point accessible by a small chairlift. Luositian, often called the Snail Fields, is a unique geological and agricultural site where the rapeseed fields are planted in concentric, circular patterns following the natural contours of the hills. This creates a mesmerizing, terraced effect that looks like a giant snail shell from above. The area is highly photogenic and offers a different aesthetic compared to the flat plains of Jinjifeng. Walking through the terraces allows visitors to see the intricate work of local farmers and appreciate the harmonious relationship between human agriculture and the natural karst landscape of the region.
